Luna Pet Resort is committed to doing We’re proud to open our hearts—and our suites—to dogs in need. We partner with Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue to foster pets in need, providing them with a safe, loving environment while they wait for their forever families. From cozy beds to playtime with new friends, our foster dogs get the same top-tier care as our guests. It’s our way of giving back and helping every dog get the second chance they deserve.

At Luna Pet Resort, helping animals in need is a big part of who we are. We partner with Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue to provide foster and temporary foster care, as well as grooming and daycare for rescue dogs who need a soft place to land. We’re proud to open our suites and our hearts to homeless pets, giving them time, patience, and a safe space while they wait for their forever homes. Whether it’s a fresh bath, a warm bed, or just a little extra love, we’re here to help however we can.

Dixie

Miss Dixie is 7 year old 75 pound German Shepherd. Dixie is a giant sweetheart and loves nothing more than a snooze in the sun.

A few of her other favorite activities include going for long walks or hikes, playing with her friends (humans and dogs), or chewing on a delicious bone!

Dixie is crate trained, house trained, and knows her name. She could use a little more work on other commands like “sit” or “lay down” but is a very smart girl.

Dixie has no medical conditions or allergies that are known, and eats Fromm kibble with an occasional yummy topper.

She is all around a great dog and deserves a great home! Could it be you?

Fats

Fats will wag her way into your heart! She is a 3 year old mixed breed that weighs about 40 pounds. This lady can take a few minutes to become comfortable with new people, but once she does she is a sweetheart!

Fats is crate trained, house trained, and knows her name. She is incredibly smart, and just needs some basic command work.

She enjoys a variety of soft toys to chew and will occasionally chew on a bone or chew treat.

She has no known allergies or medical conditions and eats Fromm kibble with an occasional topper.

She is a beautiful and sweet girl who would love to come home with you!

Bodhi

Bodhi is a 50-pound sweetheart pit mix with the most charming crooked smile you've ever seen — the result of a past jaw injury that’s healed and left him with a unique, lovable grin that’ll melt your heart.

Bodhi came to Wisconsin all the way from Alabama, and he’s been winning hearts ever since. He’s kind, gentle, and full of playful energy. He loves romping around with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine buddy to keep him company. (No cats, please — they’re not really his thing.)

Whether he’s goofing around in the yard or just soaking up affection, Bodhi brings joy and warmth wherever he goes. He’s a resilient, loving dog who’s ready to find a forever home that appreciates his big heart and one-of-a-kind smile. 💛

Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is a 9-month-old Boxer pup with a gentle heart and the softest eyes. She’s sweet, playful, and absolutely adores other dogs — they help bring out her bouncy, happy side! She’s also cat-approved and gets along well with feline friends.

Peanut Butter can be a little shy at first, especially with new people or environments. But with patience, kindness, and a bit of time, she opens up and starts to seek out the affection she secretly craves. Once she trusts you, she’ll lean in for pets and follow you around like a loyal shadow.

This sweet girl is looking for a calm, loving home that understands shy dogs and is ready to help her grow into the confident, cuddly companion she’s meant to be. 💛

Carmine

At just 7 pounds, this 1-year-old Shih Tzu is packed full of love, charm, and cuddles! Carmine is the ultimate lap dog—he lives for affection, loves giving kisses, and would be happiest being carried around like the prince he is.

He’s friendly with other dogs, cats, and even kids, making him a great fit for many kinds of homes. While he can get a little protective over food or treats (hey, can’t blame a guy who loves snacks), he’s extremely well-behaved and social overall.

With beautiful markings, a soft coat, and a heart that just wants to love and be loved, Carmine is the total package. We don’t know how he ended up in a shelter, but we do know someone is about to get very lucky—because this sweet boy is truly a gem. 💎

Tiger (Tony)

Tony (aka Tiger) is a 2-year-old low-rider with a heart of gold and a belly that’s almost beach-body ready. He’s currently working on shedding just a few more pounds to be the best, healthiest version of himself—and he's already perfect in our eyes.

Tony is a laid-back guy who’s as easygoing as they come. He’s friendly and tolerant with other dogs, chill with cats, and does well with gentle, respectful kiddos. He’s also potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides like a pro in the car—basically, a total catch.

Whether he’s lounging in a cozy bed or going for a stroll, Tony’s just happy to be included. He’s the kind of dog who fits right into your life without missing a beat. 💛
