How do I make a reservation?For your conveience, reservations may be made directly on the Luna Pet Resort website. First time guests will need to create an Owner Portal by clicking "New Client". Once an account is created, you may make reservations directly in your Owner Portal. If you are already a customer, click "Current Client" to book or modify a reservation. You may also email us at info@lunapetresort.com or call 608-400-5235 to speak with one of our friendly staff members.

What do I need to make or update a reservation?Luna Pet Resort requires a Pet Profile and Guest Services Agreement to be completed prior to check-in. Curret Vet wellness record must be uploaded into your Owner Portal or copy scanned to: info@lunapetresort.com At Luna Pet Resort, we promote a culture of respect for our guests, pet parents and our employees. We kindly ask for respect in return in regards to reservations. We ask for a 48-hour advance notice prior to the start date for a cancellation. During peak/holdiay periods, please provide a 7-day notice prior to the start date.

Health and Safety RequirementsWe welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, but there are a few things we require for the health and safety of all our guests. Any medical needs or medications must be disclosed on the Pet Profile form so that we can provide the best care for your pet. We take health and safety of our guests very seriously. Every pet guest is evaluated upon arrival to ensure they’re in good health prior to entering their suite. Pet Guests must not have been exposed to any contagious or communicable diseases 30-days prior to their check-in. Pet Guests must wait at least 48 hours after immunizations or any flea/tick treatment to board your dog. This time allows your dog's immune system to respond to the vaccine and safe guard against any possible reaction. Guests must be clean, in good health and free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Copy of current vet records required prior to check-in. Please upload your dogs most current wellness record directly into your Owner Profile. Your Vet may also scan a copy to: info@lunapetresort.com Rabies: We ask that you follow the local laws. We accept Titer tests in lieu of vaccination. Distemper: We require your dog be up-to-date on their Distemper vacinnations. Age related and medical waivers accepted for senior or ill dogs. All Guests must have a clear fecal within the last 6 months. All male guests, 10 months and older, must be neutered(exceptions made based on breed/size). All female guests, 1 year and older, must be spayed. Intact males and females intermingling pose a risk of unwanted pregnancy. Luna Pet Resort accepts medical exemptions (including age) in lieu of vaccines. Luna Pet Resort accepts Titer tests in lieu of vaccinations (within the last 2 years) Pets must be free from fleas - pets will be inspected upon check-in and if fleas are noticed on pet a mandatory flea bath will be required at Owner/Guardian’s expense. Due to the chemicals, flea & tick treatments may pose health risks to other guests, if you do treat your pet, please treat at least 2 weeks prior to boarding. If your pet requires medication or supplements during their stay, all medications and supplements must be provided with instructions. For the safety of our boarding dogs, we cannot administer flea/tick topicals during a pet's stay. Puppies must be at least 16 weeks of age and have completed their first series of rabies and DHPP. A clear fecal exam within the last 3 months is also required. While there is no way to completely protect your pet from airborne illness, the staff at Luna Pet Resort makes every effort to protect the health of your pet. Luna has a strict sanitization policy that includes daily disinfecting of areas and equipment.

Daily Schedule (Boarding / Daycare)All of our guests enjoy a full day playtime and loads of personal attention! Our goal is to provide healthy exercise and enrichment activities so that your dog will sleep soundly and comfortably at night. For the safety of all our guest’s, dogs will always be grouped according to size, temperament and play style. Boarding 7:00 AM: Wake up potty break 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Breakfast is served, rest before playgroup 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: First play group 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Break/Lunch/add-ons 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Second play group 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Dinner is served, rest 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Final playgroup and potty 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Refresh suites and prepare for lights out 9:00 PM - Lights out! Daycare 7:00 AM: Check-in begins/Outdoor play 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Indoor Play 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Outdoor Play 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Break/Nap/Lunch 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Outdoor Play 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Indoor Play/End of Day

Can I Schedule A Tour?We welcome visitors and understand that as good pet parents, you should meet the people who will care for your pet and see where they will stay and play. For the safety and least disruption to our boarding guests, tours are booked in advance. To schedule a tour, please email info@lunapetresort.com or call 608-400-5235. Future guests are welcome to join for the tour!

What If My Pet Needs Veterinary Care While Staying At Luna Pet Resort?If your pet needs veterinary care while during his or her stay, we will try to consult with your pet's primary veterinarian. If this is not possible, we work with several local veterinarians to resolve any medical situation that may arise. If an emergency occurs outside of regular Vet office hours, we will go to the Emergency Vet Clinic located in Middleton.

Are You Currently Accepting New Daycare Clients?Yes! We would love to have your furry friend(s) join us for daycare.

What Hours Are Staff Onsite?Our staff arrives at 6:30am and immediately start our first let out. Guests are put to bed at 8:00pm, staff are scheduled to be in the building until 9pm.

Can My Guest Receive Treats, Walks, etc. While Boarding?Yes! We offer a variety of add-ons for our guests. You can view a list of what we offer in the "Suites & Amenities" tab above.

I'm a New Client, Is There a Way to Bring My Pet in For a Trial Run?Yes! We offer free 3 hour intro stays for new daycare/boarding clients. If you would like to schedule an intro stay please contact our email listed in the "Contact" tab under the "More" section of our site. These stays are generally scheduled for slower days and cannot be extended. Add-ons are not available to our intro stay guests. Vaccination records are required.
