How do I make a reservation?

For your conveience, reservations may be made directly on the Luna Pet Resort website. First time guests will need to create an Owner Portal by clicking "New Client". Once an account is created, you may make reservations directly in your Owner Portal. If you are already a customer, click "Current Client" to book or modify a reservation. You may also email us at or call 608-850-LUNA to speak with one of our friendly staff members.

What do I need to make or update a reservation?

  • Luna Pet Resort requires a Pet Profile and Guest Services Agreement to be completed prior to check-in.

  • At Luna Pet Resort, we promote a culture of respect for our guests, pet parents and our employees. We kindly ask for respect in return in regards to reservations. We ask for a 48-hour advance notice of a cancellation. During peak/holdiay periods, please provide a 7-day notice.

Health and Safety Requirements

We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, but there are a few things we require for the health and safety of all our guests. Any medical needs or medications must be disclosed on the Pet Profile form so that we can provide the best care for your pet. We take health and safety of our guests very seriously. Every pet guest is evaluated upon arrival to ensure they’re in good health prior to entering their suite.

  • Pet Guests must not have been exposed to any contagious or communicable diseases 30-days prior to their check-in.
  • Pet Guests must wait at least 2 weeks after immunizations or any flea/tick treatment to board your dog. This time allows your dog's immune system to respond to the vaccine and safe guard against any possible reaction.
  • Guests must be clean, in good health and free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests.
  • Copy of current vet records required prior to check-in. Please upload your dogs most current wellness record directly into your Owner Profile. Your Vet may also scan a copy to:
  • Rabies: We ask that you follow the local laws. We accept Titer tests in lieu of vaccination.
  • Distemper: We require your dog be up-to-date on their Distemper vacinnations. Age related and medical waivers accepted for senior or ill dogs.
  • All Guests must have a clear fecal within the last 6 months.
  • All male guests, 10 months and older, must be neutered. All female guests, 1 year and older, must be spayed. Intact males and females intermingling pose a risk of unwanted pregnancy. Intact dogs (both male and female) can disrupt a peaceful play envrionment, therefore, intact dogs will have private play sessions with staff members. The private play fee is $10/day.
  • Females in heat can emit a scent that can be smelled for miles away which could cause increased arousal levels for all our guests (male and female). Therefore, for the safety of all our guests, we cannot welcome them at this time. If a female goes into heat while they are staying with us, a pet parent will be contacted to pick up their dog. If a pet parent is unable to pick up their pet, there is an additional $20/day handling fee for caring for these special guests.
  • Immunizations must have been received at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
  • Luna Pet Resort accepts medical exemptions (including age) in lieu of vaccines.
  • Luna Pet Resort accepts Titer tests in lieu of vaccinations (within the last 2 years)
  • Pets must be free from fleas-pets will be inspected upon check-in and if fleas are noticed on pet a mandatory flea bath will be required at Owner/Guardian’s expense. Due to the chemicals, flea & tick treatments may pose health risks to other guests, if you do treat your pet, please treat at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
  • If your pet requires medication or supplements during their stay, all medications and supplements must be provided in their original labeled container.
  • For the safety of our boarding dogs, we cannot administer flea/tick topicals or orals during a pets stay.
  • Puppies must be at least 16 weeks of age and have completed their first series of rabies and DHPP. A clear fecal exam within the last 3 months is also required.
While there is no way to completely protect your pet from airborne illness, the staff at Luna Pet Resort makes every effort to protect the health of your pet. Luna has a strict sanitization policy that includes daily disinfecting of areas and equipment.

Daily Schedule

All of our guests enjoy a full day playtime and loads of personal attention! Our goal is to provide healthy exercise and enrichment activities, such as puzzles and bubble play during the day, so that your dog will sleep soundly and comfortably at night. For the safety of all our guest’s, dogs will always be grouped according to size, temperament and play style. 6:30AM: Wake up potty break and enjoy breakfast 7:30AM-12PM: Supervised outside & indoor playtime 12PM-2PM: Indoor naptime to recharge their batteries! 2PM-5PM: Supervised outside & indoor playtime 5:30PM: Dinner & potty break 6PM-8PM: Inside or outside relaxed play. Movie Night in the PetFlix Theater. 9PM: Final potty break 9-10PM: Tucking-in service with kisses and belly rubs. Sweet dreams!

Who Can Stay In The Serenity Suite?

  • The Serenity Suite is designed for older, ill, special needs or hospice guests who need a peaceful environment. The accommodations are separate from other guests to ensure a quiet stay.
  • We customize their day to meet their individual needs and level of care required.
  • We believe physical exercise and mental stimulation is good for them so we encourage indoor/outdoor sessions throughout the day.
  • Our staff will serve a special diet, special meal time, hand feed and give medications, if necessary.
  • Our staff will lavish your companion with cuddles, exercise and activities to suit each of their unique personalities and needs.
  • Due to the unique nature of these suites, all guests must be non-aggressive, not excessive barkers and non-chewers.

Can I Schedule A Tour?

We welcome visitors and understand that as good pet parents, you should meet the people who will care for your pet and see where they will stay and play. For the safety and least disruption to our boarding guests, tours are booked in advance. To schedule a tour, please email or call 608-850-LUNA.

What If My Pet Needs Veterinary Care While Staying At Luna Pet Resort?

If your pet needs veterinary care while during his or her stay, we will try to consult with your pet's primary veterinarian. If this is not possible, we work with several local veterinarians to resolve any medical situation that may arise.

What is Personal Play Program (Solo Play)?

Our Personal Play Program is for dogs that are unable to play in a group; whether it be they do not get along with other dogs, a recent surgery, or at the pet parent's request. With this option, your pup will have one-on-one playtime with a staff member throughout their stay. The daily fee is $10 in addition to the nightly suite rate. Multiple family dogs playing together will only be charge one solo fee per day. The Personal Play Program carries a fee due to the staffing required to provide your pup with the best stay possible.
